i was going to register ofver there and comment that some fof the guys that are talking ballistics and common sense are correct, that 300Mag doens't have africken clue how far the moose was away, and that the ones that are saying "it's okay, he got his moose" are encouraging peopel to take shots at LIVE game beyond thier capability..

But ah...why bother. There are alot of phuktards on that site, if soeone claimed to make a 1000 yard shot on a moose here, there would be no shortage of people that could give informed opinions on if it were possible or not. They are jsut guessing over there.

And a 40" moose is a nice bull, but it is by no means a monster, I don't know why they are all running around sucking each others dicks abotuit...

hmm takes up to 1 buisness day to register?????? guess there secret club of the assinine cornholers will do without me

someone should tell gutshot that a 40" moose rack is like shooting a 4 foot black bear , 40" isnt even heavy nuff to hold down the B&C book nevermind be in it

but hey gutshot here are a few critters that will reach the book

Oh good Lord. I finally went to that website and took a peek.

I just can't believe some of this stuff.

300Mag asks:
How come come some hills pull your vehicle upwards?

and just as funny:
If you drop a ball on a 45 degree hill, that is 5000 yards downhill....will the ball stop rolling half way? no it will keep rolling gaining speed until it reaches top gravity force until it reaches 0 degree and then stop. So take that ball and throw it X amount of feet per seconds....don't tell me it drops just as fast as on flat terrain buddy.

Newton was WRONG :!:

Here is the story from the horse's mouth for those who missed it:

It's an awesome story, I called out 3 massive bulls, one behind another, all walking together...I'll be back at lunch to post the story, when I shot the bull, one of them was the largest bull we ever saw in our lives! We did not get a shot at it, My old man shot over 30 moose, never saw one this huge! We took the smaller one with a nice body, clean shot but over 1000 yards! We all thanked the 300 Mag gun for the perfect shot! I'm excited all over again! lol

Oh my. It was actually over 1000 yards.

ok BRB heading for the gully with my dogs tennis ball

oh yea a question for them boys....why do my arrows fall out of the sky @ 75 yards ? is there a turbo model carbon arrow I should be using or do you just ductape co2 canisters to the arrows?

psssst Kristian I have 300 ammo that runs on avgas and nitromethaine

the big ones are all fly-ins up towards spatzizi park, If I could chose 1 place to go and die in peice it would be there  .......right after I hunt the heck out of it again

I've flown in from Dease Lk. once, not to Spatizi, but just north, and it is country that you have to see to understand. That whole area from Tatogga up to Dease Lk is really nice. Now I want to go. :(

This went sour fast guys.

Sorry gonna lock it, it ain't goin anywhere to quick, and ya I see what provoked it.

To bad it was a good thread, nice moose Bones.
