If you are referring to my issue.

- went back to distributor
- waited for parts/installed parts
- same issues
- waiting for manufacture's decision to replace/refund

This all started by light primer hits. Mine started out great with hardly any problems. Continued good luck with yours!

mine wasn't working very well at first then i did loctite everything.. im not saying it is a great gun without issues that won't screw up in the future when the parts cannot be loctited back together.. all im saying is after loctite and upgraded hammer spring, i ran 400 bulk AE through it today without ONE FTF/FTE.. i clean the gun with Gunzilla and nothing has happened to the finish..

I feel sorry for you guys, im having these type of issues with my JR Carbine right now that im working through.
 
I never sent mine in but I did contact the manufacturer to see what they recommended. they told me to replace the hammer spring with a stronger one and replace the firing pin. I then contacted north sylva, got the replacement parts and installed myself... Worked for a short bit...
 
I just got one the other day and took it out today. I sure am not to impressed by it so far compared to my SR 22. I have had so many FTF and FTE properly using AE shells. Going to try it tommorrow again.
 
Took my new out of the box ISSC MK 22 to the farm on boxing day... put 350 rds down range, mixture of federal 40 grain and winchester ammo types. Mixed the mags with both half and half... no problems.

Did some multi tgt shooting with a mag change again no problems.

Entire morning had only one FTF.... I will keep you posted.
 
Took the nephew out shooting tuesday morning to try his new Mini Scar out, fed a brick of Winchester Wild Cat and 50 rounds of PMC Score master, not one failure to feed or extract, Great gun so far! Hate to here all the problems others are having with there's? Dale Z!
 
Took my 2 nephews out the other day and the SR22 as well as the new ISSC MK 22. I was shooting bulk AE ammo and had some much FTE, FFT. i would say 2-4 every clip full(22). It seems like the magazine spring is weak and doesn't feed the ammo up properly.and a few times the spent casing was stuck on the other side of the live shell that was halfway into the chamber. I would have to remove the clip and then open the slide and dig out the live shell with a knife, just to get out the spent one that was jammed on the otherside.
I am not sure if this is a lemon or not..doesn't hold a candle to the SR-22.
 
My ISSC worked awesome!

I know people have been bashing the MK22 however my new one is working fine. I had a few cycling issues but nothing that slowed me down, not to mention using strictly bulk ammo. I had made sure everything was tight and installed a new Burris tactical red dot. (flip sites crap). Dialled it in and can put all 22 in 9-10 ring on bench, include 8 ring when standing. Uploading a Youtube clip as we speak to show this new toy off. I hesitated between it and a 10/22 for the same money, however this one is tricked out already and I would instinctively be spending too much money on accessories and other crap which would have put me well over $1000. This one is suiting my needs now and hopefully for years to come. 100 rnd drum mag soon available aswell.
 
First time i shot mine I had a lot FTF's with Federal bulk pack ammo. I then went and used Loctite on all the aforementioned bolts and took it out today in -10C fired off about 20 mags of Fed bulk pack with no FTF's. This rifle is a lot of fun to shoot now.

They are a very nice looking rifle.

I wonder if a receiver shock buff might help with the screw stripping out issue? Something to absorb the bolt pounding against the rear, eventually stripping the screws?
 
I picked Up a Tan ISSC Mk-22 a few months ago, love the way it looks and feels, I have taken to the range two or three times and had no real problems with it. two or three FRF, but thats it..
But reading all the other problems guys are having do i keep it or not??? or do i but the money into another 22. Any suggestions.......
I have a SR-22 and love it along with a plain jane 10-22. Do i just kit them out with the money I would get from the sale of the MK-22??????
 
Received an e-mail from the distributor stating my rifle is repaired and shipped after an inquire from ISSC. After 75 days out of my possession they most likely changed springs and tightened some screws.

I will see if it fails after a test fire.
 
That would be the slack asses at North Sylva for you. I'm none too pleased at this point with the rifle or North Sylva and will not knowingly be buying anything that comes through there ever again.

The ISSC MK22 is a piece of #### too. It worked well for the first few hundred rounds and has since become a useless jamomatic.
 
Mine was a jam and light hammer strike piece of crap. Had the opportunity to shoot it 4 times now with over 1000 rounds down range. The gun got progressively worse each time out. The 3rd time shooting I had a scarey incident, casing jammed and the subsequent round was allowed to be fired out of battery. Potentially very dangerous. There is a video on YouTube of this happening to someone else also.
When I got home I torn this gun down, was appalled by the amount of loose screws. Many didn't require any force to turn!!! The screws that held the carrier in place backed out.
Blue locktite was put on every screw internally and externally I could find.
Test fired 150 rounds of federal champion bulk pack, with no problems.
THIS GUN NEEDS TO BE STRIPPED and BLUE LOCKTITE on everything, spend the hour for safety sake and avoid an out of battery incident. Will post future testing of this gun.
To ISSC: buy a tanker of Blue Locktite and you will have happy customers.
 
I almost bought one of these rifles. I do like the looks of them.

But, I read plenty of reviews both on here and elsewhere on the net first. Changed my mind.

The fact that screws come loose and need to be tightened and Loctited into place is not good but it is manageable. Once done you'd think that that would be that.

But what really put me off was the people saying that the next thing that happened was one or two of the Loctited bolts actually stripped out.

What kind of metal are we talking here, cheesy white metal?

Has anyone reading this had the bolt stripping issue?

Check Mag for before making your ammo choice!!!

ISSC Owners - ON THE BOTTOM OF THE MAG IT SAYS HV - HIGH VELOCITY?
SO THOSE THAT ARE HAVING CYCLING PROBLEMS SHOULD RECONSIDER USING THE BULK AMMO IN A $700 RIFLE. DO YOU SHOOT FACTORY OUT OF YOUR TARGET RIFLE.:HR:
