Picked it up this morning and it now rests in my safe till the next range day! If it's fun to shoot I will keep, if not up for sale it goes.

You can order a new Defense model customized with rifle sights and a Parkerized finish if you don't mind spending a bit of money.
Though I'd personally rather stay with the standard nitride finish, which more or less looks like oiled Parkerizing.
The only issue with going this route is that the standard Defense model wood is pretty utilitarian compared to most of the vintage DSPS', but you can specify fancier wood if you want.
