My apologies to you Ontario/Quebec hunters/landowners.
I have wrongly compared "apples with oranges", like the hunting conditions in B.C. and Ontario/Quebec.
I can understand the landowners frustration in keeping out hordes of hunters out of their private land, as well as for the hunters who get tempted to hunt prime private hunting land, and hoping to get away with it.
However, I feel, for several reasons, it is a wrong approach to start to post pictures of "criminals" in these fine pages, who might innocently have drifted into private land. Even if these individual, on purpose trespassed and hunted your private land, you have no right to post their picture as wanted "criminals" in these fine pages.
Two wrongs, does not make it right. I personally doubt that any police departments will react seriously to such pictures. To difficult to prove, contest and very time consuming. Police has more important things to do.
By posting these unproven and undcontested "criminals", vigilante style, in these fine pages, you set yourself up for a very serious moneytary law suits from such "criminals", who can easily gain the legal upper hand against you, because you started to use vigilante justice, which are a criminal act in this, and most other countries.
Therefore, by posting pictures of your trespassing "criminal" in these fine pages, you yourself becomes a bona fide criminal, who violate this trespassers canadian human and civil rights, and thus open your bank account or will be forced to take a bank loan, using your land as colateral, in order to pay for this "trespassing criminal" in damages, minimum $ 25.000 plus lawyer fee's as well as a hefty fine for having violated another canadians human and civil rights. If he is injured in the process, it will cost you even more, and the sky will be the limit for his legal claims against you.
Make sure your private property is clearly marked and posted, and call police if your private property has been violated by trespasser. Write down their license numbers.
