IVI .22rf AMMO QUESTION

I have a few boxes of IVI .22rf ammo. Needing only one for my box collection, so I've been offering them at auction. It eventually dawned on me that there's not going to be any more of these!!!

Should I hang onto them for a while? Are they commonly found fairly often at gun shows in Canada? I never see any at gun shows down here. I found these few on the Web some time ago.

Can anyone give me an idea of the status of the IVI boxes' collectible status?

Satain, CIL (owners of the the Imperial brand name) sold out to iVi, who very quickly sold out to a military ammo manufacturer down here in the States. No more Imperial...

Hi. - while I do not collect ammo, I don't see a big demand for '80 era Canadian .22 ammo and find it frequently on sale at gun shows around here. I think that things will eventually change and that there will be more interest in future. I'm sitting on about four full boxes that look like that, but the label is green in colour.

I have something similar to this except mine is in the brick and is CIL and is the Long Rifle Target ammo. Same plastic box. FS

"...Did Imperial go bankrupt..." Imperial is just a brand name. Originally a Dominion brand name, carried on by IVI(after about 1977ish), then discontinued when IVI became SNC Technologies who were later sold to General Dynamics.
Doubt there is much collector interest in anything IVI.

I have two bricks of Imperial .22 LR that i picked up at a local gun show two years ago for $ 12.00 a brick

Not 100 per cent sure but I believe that General Dynamics still operates the old C-I-L I-V-I plant but only manufactures ammunition for the military.
