Izhmash Biathlon Basic 7-2

Man, I remember getting my 7-2 KO a long time ago from Armrus. The last of his stock before he went bye-bye :( .
They are great rifles. I used mine a bit for small bore silhouette. The one thing I never got were the rings. The rail is an odd size (for our market) and finding rings that work well or risers has been a bit of a chore.

(E)

The prices on the biathlon have gone way way up....

x2 the current prices a way higher. If there is enough interest I can try to bring them in...

here is modern Biathlon 7-4

Biathlon 7-4 pictured above roughly $1800+ (depends on too many things)
7-2 KO $1100 + (again it's a rough estimate)
April - May time frame...

The price tag at mtguns is unreal... manufucturer price as of July 1 2009 is higer than mtguns advertised retail price. I'm sure if you try to buy from mtguns they would not sell for that price...However, I will verify the price list with Izhmash never know if there is a typo

I for one would not want the sights. Considering the price difference if I wanted sights I'd just get the 7-4.
TeaPot, thanks for being a stand-up dealer and actually looking into these. I really like when businesses will bring-in cool stuff. If these can be had sightless for a decent cost then consider me game.

I'd be interested in the full rig ready to go. Chasing around after the fact for sights and accessories is usually more expensive and a pain.

I have two russians

I have two, the 7-2 and the 7-4. I have actually been thinking of selling them both to help finance an Anschutz biathlon 1827. I have barely used the 7-2 as I usually shoot targets and prefer the 7-4 for that. The 7-2 was imported from the US, which cost a lot of time and money. The 7-4 is my favorite gun and has the full biathlon package, ready for racing. The 7-2 is very accurate and the 7-4 is better yet. For a carry in the field gun the 7-2 is the better option. The action on both is amazing.
Just a few thoughts...

The Russians won't allow the SV99 to be imported (The sniper version with the take down stock). I've already made inquiries about it a year or more ago.
