JC Custom Barrels

It took me a while being old-stunned, but finally got the JC was a CARPENTER joke.

Coincidentally our JC was also a carpenter.

I had a custom 20" precision crowned JC Custom 30 HAR/Herrett stainless sporting rifle barrel made which is top notch.

If I remember right he built his own rifling machine.

I am right at 100rds on my 28" 300 PRC barrel from JC, not finished load development yet but made a 2nd round hit at 1180 with it this week. It shoots the 210 Berger very well but I'm hoping to get some heavier pills dialed in as well since I have very few of the Berger.

I have one of JC's barrels on my 30-06 Savage hunting rig. I believe he used a Serengeti reamer, it is way more accurate than any hunting rifle has a right to be and it keeps our freezer full.

It just so happens my barrel is now en route so your timing is interesting.

I sent my deposit on March 12th and he messaged me June 5th to say it was ready.
So right on 12 weeks which is what he estimates, 10-12wks.
