Was reading on the American Long Rifle Forum that Jim Kibler might be doing a 1756 pattern Long Land Brown Bess kit for their sesquicentennial ..Basically one of the guys on the forum dropped off an unmolested original for him to do a copy.If it does happen it would be worth having

I would have to buy it. I've been sitting on the fence for a Kibler for years, a BB by him is too tempting. The only problem is the cost involved in shooting the thing. .75 caliber ball and half a cannon load of powder is going to be expensive to shoot.

A kibler brown Bess would be as close to an original in mint condition you can get.It would definitely be worth having if you can afford it , though in the end close to A Pedersoli Bess price but better quality and more authentic.I can see this gun being a big hit
