John Woo'ing

i tried Woo'ing with my desert eagle and my hi-power. eagle in the strong hand. i think in 20 shots i only got about 4 or 5 to hit the target. definatley not a well balanced package

you are quickly becoming an asshat of paramount proportions

Don't you mean....

Now what's next after Woo'ing? Juggling 3 Colt 1911's and maintaining constant unlimited fire on them just like in the movies?

Wake up and smell the coffee Woo'ers, It's just gun fantasies you are having that are digitally enhanced. :D

Just go to the Woo' movie, and buy 2 cap guns at Sobey's, same thing! Have fun at the Movies!

IBTL

There are no Liberals out West, I've never seen one in person except on TV, they all seem to be in the East.
What about the bag on the left next to the two clowns?

Isn't that Paul martin reaching around the back of Jack Layton in his devil's outfit to hand a check to one of Windy Wendy Cukier's anti-gun Femminist lobbyists just after striking a "new deal" with the NDP so he can laugh at all us gun owners?

What's with the devils's right leg up in the air? That is a reach around!

Have any of you seen a good Cowboy Action Shooter shooting gun fighter style.

That is a single action revolver in both hands.

Someone who practices this kind of shooting is fast and accurate.........

I have tried shooting it with my Ruger Bisley Vaquero's in 45 Colt as well as with my 2 10mm's a G20 and a Colt Delta Elite.

Probably the most fun I have ever had shooting handguns but like everyone else here I couldn't hit the side of a barn.....

For better accuracy, hold one handgun in each hand at arms lenght. Then, rotate left hand clockwise and right hand counter-clockwise 90 degrees to hols guns sideways. This increases accuracy tremendusly. trust me. I saw it on a movie once

Chrome guns seem to work best

How about answering the question about:

(1) Woo'ing while doing
your Restricted Firearms Test with 2 pistols
and declining to the instructor with just one pistol
because the Woo" method is better in your mind
and opinion.

and:

(2) Woo'ing at the range for the local police detachment,
and giving them a demonstration of the Woo'.
Are you retarded?

Do you ever break the speed limit? Yeah? Would you break the speed limit during a driving exam? Would you break the speed limit with a cop car on your ass?

Just because it's not advisable to do certain things in certain situations does not mean you can't do them at all.

WOO fn HOO!

everyone at least those insecure have negative comments as usual...

woo'ing is an concept and a topic . comment on it in a civil manner or STFU - start your own thread... you think the designer of phpBB wished his technology would go off topic 99.999% of the time?

* sigh *

for me I will comment on the concept listed in a civil manner.

LOOKS FUN, and I think it could be done safely, maybe the idea comes from pop culture but it seems valid to test its validity as many here have done. Will they continue to shoot this way NO!, because it is a waste of ammo.

In essence it looks to me to be sort combination of multi-tasking the speed at which consecutive shots are taken from each hand. with practice someone probably could become proficient.

Sure Happy Gilmore had a funny swing but who didn;t see someone do that on the course and fly the ball 325 yards to land on the green.

I have never done the woo, boo hoo, if I saw a guy next to me at the range doin it, I'd probably smile as long those pistols stayed pointed down field. :D

Nice to see the mods cleaning up some posts... I think they could do more to keep this community cohesive and focused as we are all enthusiasts.

I think I`m going to have to go ahead and start practicing the WOO. I`m thinking 4-5 targets set up, about 10-15m away, maybe a no shoot or two, 4 mags, 30 seconds..... a plan is forming upstairs, this could be fun :D

could be the f'wooture of shooting you never know!

ok so that comment I might deserve the firing line

The Matrix "running up the side of a wall" really hurts  . No one without a Mall Ninja badge has any business attempting these Hollywood proven combat techniques.

In his book "Fast and Fancy Revolver Shooting" Ed McGivern describes in section 6 how to shoot 2 guns at the same time and eventually be fast and accurate at it, It takes the right training technique and lots of practice, but he proved it can be done, including hitting aerial targets.

For one stationary target at 18 ft he fired 10 shots in one and two fifths seconds, getting all good hits, with 2 revolvers shooting double action.

I went to the club today to shoot my G20 and Colt Delta Elite 10mm's as well as my new G20 22LR conversion kit.

Because of this thread I had to try shooting both guns at the time again.

WOOOOH WHOOOO WHAT A GAS!!!!!!!!

Did I hit the targets? Not very well but who cares it was great fun.........

I have one question for those that have done this: did you fire both simutaneaously or stagger the shots? Im imaging a staggered pattern might result in better accuracy but Id have to either borrow or buy another gun to try it. Sounds like some fun, not overly safe but then shooting isnt safe as its a controlled explosion in itself with flying projectiles as a known result.
As for accuracy, Id believe that practice would make one better and better like all shooting practices. Youd just spend way more ammo getting better and the gunshops would love you all even more.

And yes I think Wooing has become a new phrase in the CGN language.

There's no way in hell that I could even come close to trying this at the RA Center gun club... damn people there are fussy over everything and will watch you like a hawk if you look like you're having a good time shooting. Oh, and shooting more than 3 rounds in 2 seconds will get you the MANIAC label or something. I wish they weren't so regimented...
