love my 45 jr carbine. after getting in contact with jr carbines they sent me the proper repair parts to make mine function properly. now it works perfect all the time.

What parts did they send you? I'm still getting issues feeding, but I changed all the mag springs a and adjustments and tried different ammo types for 45acp

New buffer ..comes with small stock extension ..

I was having some problems with federal and norinco , but wolf reloads shot like a dream ..

Now all go down the line with out any problems ... Give them a call ask for a tech .. He will release the buffer to you .. They will mail it that day .. See the PDF on their site ..download section ..


Edit: I bought replacement mag springs from them a year ago when I purchased the unit for my dedicated mags ..... I have an unmodified glock mag .. That can be a problem if it gets in the mix .. So bend those springs ..
 
I have a 9mm version, runs like a champ. It survived Hungry's CQB course 3 weeks ago (500ish rounds in two days) with no issues at all. Note that you should use locktite when assembling, especially on the charging handle. Lots of Slip2000 or Froglube.
 
No, the mag release is great for me, I'm a lefty so I simply squeeze it with my fingers (right hand) and continue a downwards motion stripping the mag out. I have run my own reloads through it, but mostly run "factory" reloads by Canadian BDX. Avoid any ammo with aluminum casings, the extractor pretty much tears those in half, found out with a box of Blazers.

I have mine converted to eject left, with the charging handle on the right. That's seems to be my winning combination.

yes, I replaced mine with a "wolf" fore end (hope I remember the right name!).
The barrel lock ring would not fully lock down the barrel at first. I had to lap the lock ring down about .040". Now the barrel fits nice and tight.
 
Love/Hate relationship

LOVE: Feels Good, Shoots good, Looks cool, Functions great.

HATE: No bolt hold open, Doesnt come with tools to disasemble, Mag release is in a bad spot for Quick changes, all aluminum with screws.

I have one for sale. Just isnt a good gun for CQB. The reason I bought it for
 
My .45 JR Carbine runs great, and is quite accurate; overall I'm very satisfied.

I find the front handguards to be too large diameter to be really comfortable, but it seems I'm in the minority on this one.

The rifle not being sold without speciality tools it absolutely has to have in order to dissasemble it is totally retarded however, and there is just to excuse for it, regardless of how I like the rifle itself.

I had issues with my .45 JR Carbine the first time I took it to the range. The ejector broke after about 6 rounds. I called up their tech support a couple days after and explained what happened. They sent me 2 new ejectors at no charge. Turned out there was a bad batch of ejectors that made it into a bunch of guns. I am still having some cycling issues with the gun that I need to work out, but I have only put 100 rds through it. I find the bolt's action to be abit rough. It is a fun gun to shoot and anyone that I let try it, enjoys shooting it.

I wouldn't mind getting a 9mm conversions for it, but haven't been able to find anyone selling them yet.
