Duelling tree with targets in the likeness of Justin Trudeau and Wendy Cukier... with aftermarket replacements for others. You can even start a target of the month club where members get replacements monthly.
 
Poppers of any shape (preferably gophers and rabbits) made with ar450 for .22 (1/4") and ar500 (3/8') for everything else.

A steel plate Rolodex type thing, with a bunch of plates, and every time you hit it it flips down another plate, kinda like an old clock. I have no idea if this will work but it's a "crazy idea"
 
I'd like to have some kind of moving target to practice running shots. Maybe a set up like a clothesline with a target hanging from it. Use a DC motor to power it with a limit switch at either end of the target's travel to reverse the direction. Maybe some way of varying the speed. Offer the option of clay, steel, or paper targets by designing a multipurpose holder. It should be fairly compact for shipping, (batteries not included). :)
 
How about some little gongs on a long track like you see at the shooting galleries? make it a kit with 6 gongs (or other shapes) on something like a big bike chain, two cogs and a variable speed motor (or retrofit an old chainsaw) and you are set! Would be awesome if it's 3-5 feet long and AR500 for use with rifles, would make a great 100m target.

Rimfire precision target with 6 plus targets going from large to small to simulate target size at specific distances (moa at 50 to say 300 yards in 50 yrd increments). Either spins or is re settable.
 
Steel Target the exact size of the "A" zone. Plate would be angled so the spalling would be directed towards the ground for multiple hits. Would really train the shooter to train for the best score and time with instant feedback.

How about we recreate the Simpsons Couch Scene? Hit each member of the family and drop em down on to the couch. If you could get the right ammo and steel combo to make a D'OH sound with each hit that would be even better!
 
How about a gong within a gong? Have a cut out in the centre with a hanging insert so you can practice precision shooting on the smaller target, or use it for longer range to see hits on the larger surface. Using my flexibility mindset, make the two components useable as stand alone targets as well. The hole in the larger target could hold a clay target or paper. The smaller target could hang off the bottom of the larger one to mix things up.
