This is probably one of the most interesting milsurp purchases I have ever made.
On April 26th I started a post to advise people there was a significant volume of Indian Enfields coming into Canada. The warning was not that these were Indian Enfields, but that Long Branches, Lithgows, BSA, LSA, etc... might actually end up as having been in Indian or Pakistani Military Service. A 'Caveat Emptor' call - more or or less.
This particular rifle is not a rebuild. It is an original POF built on the tooling purchased from the UK. I'll explain why this rifle is interesting in an article I intend to write shortly - but only after a degree of testing and evaluation.
Needless to say looks are missleading from time to time.
Expect publishing on riflechair.com sometime in Aug or Sept. The article will be in pdf format and will likely come out soon before Marstar's VZ-58S.
A few pictures for your review.
Look at them closely and tell me what pops to mind.
This is going to be an excellent article for people looking to buy their first lee enfield.
