Date of manufacter is April of 1979, this coincides with ADLs being marked as 7mm express from 79 thru 82.
The mag release is on the forward outside edge of the trigger gaurd.
So, me thinks this is an ADL with a kwik klip mod!
An ADL has a top loading blind magazine. A BDL has a hinged floorplate. If your rifle has a Remington factory original detachable magazine, it is neither an ADL or BDL.
Unless it's a BDL DM which was made for several years. Best identifier is the forend tip: black will likely be a BDL DM.

OK, so does this affect the value of this rifle?
Absolutely does!! The Kwik-Klip conversion is not the greatest magazine system.
It forces one to seat bullets considerably deeper than the factory magazine length.
This means a longer "jump" to the lands, not always a good thing.
I avoid this conversion like the plague.
