I have also noticed she has the free-floating firing pin so I will have to be careful when I go to the range to avoid slam fires.
Buy a crate of surplus and you'll have more stripper clips then you know what to do with.
Anyone know which part of Russia these latest batch of '53 and '54 SKSes came from ?

If you need info, go to SKS boards.com.
Or he can ask here. There is many people here who know a thing or two about SKS rifles.

what year is your SKS, GunNut1?

Usually 1952 to 1956. Yearly years refurbished ones should be chromed lined, out of last shipment I had 2 that were 1949 were not chromed lined, other ones were all chromed lined as I requested them all to be that way except 1949 I will take in any condition those are collectible and very hard to find.
Am thinking of getting one from Lever.
Anyone know if it comes with the extra goodies?
