My knowledge of the Russian language is pretty basic, but I believe he actually said:
"He bit through my hand"

My knowledge of the Russian language is pretty basic, but I believe he actually said:
"He bit through my hand"
I came across a big grizzly sitting on a logging road. I was driving. He ran stright away from me.
I was doing 35-40km he definitely put more distance between me and him in not time.
Watched another grizzly across a river that had something burried in grass. Could just see a hoof sticking out.
Amazing animals to see for sure.
Respect them and its usually a good encounter.
That being said I always have a gun with me when wandering aimlessly in the bush.
Something is always open around here.
