Yeah, but then they'll punish you by process until you're bankrupt. Or if you're too young and too poor, they'll just charge you with murder and throw you in jail, like that case in Alberta a while ago where some kid had to stab someone in self-defense and they didn't even give him the Ian Thompson treatment...

I actually own only one pistol and it is a Glock 19 and I love it. I switched from a 17 to the 19. Fits my hand perfectly, standard capacity of 15 rounds (17 and 33 also available) in a Free Country and obviously mine has the standard canadian neutered magazines.

Glocks are great and I have a few. If it's just one, I'd get a 1911 in 9mm if I wanted the ammo cost savings. I'm over the 60 and can't
fall in love with any plastic guns.

In San Jose I'd carry my 1911. Sadly not in .45 but likely 9mm but maybe .40. Having polymers and 1911s I far prefer the 1911s. Perhaps after a day of carrying my opinion would change.

I would probably pick my 10mm 1911 Colt Delta Elite for the versatility of the round. Load it to 40 cal power levels for practice and still have the ability to load it once in a while warm to 10mm levels without too much PSI increase and wear and tear on the pistol. Mine is reliable with hollow points and quite accurate and flat shooting.

Honestly, nothing wrong with it. Trigger is a bit weird like the m&p9 but otherwise good value pistol

If you shoot straight, you don't have to reload, even with a 22
as we are not allowed in this country to protect yourself with a handgun 12 ga shot gun with 12-14 inch barrel, pump action

Desert Eagle in 50AE.....and a 629 in 44 magnum in the other hip because who wants to reload? End of discussion.
