Just ordered my Tavor today the waiting game begins

Mine was waiting for me when I got home. "what's in the box?" my wife asks me...

Did you tell her it was flowers?

Cheese wiz:eek:...imagine how many fake boobies you could buy with that collection? But seriously, how long is the barrel on that Stag Arms? Just out of curiosity...since mine is still incoming.?

It's all airsoft!!! :p. The crappy iphone pictures make it easier to photoshop out the red end on the barrels. J/K.

The Stag is the 16". With the stock collapsed it looks odd.

Shows that the Tavor is as short as a 14" M4 with the stock fully collapsed.

A big thanks to CanAm. It's Christmas in February.

Epoxy- how's the trigger pull?

I keep harassing my local post office clerk. The gun is here at the central depot, but I guess I can't go down there and pick it up. What kind of country is this where a guy can't show up at the mail sorting center with a raging boner and go rooting through the heaps of mail looking for his rifle?

The trigger is fairly heavy. It's a combat rifle. Seemed clean though. It's not bad actually. I know you can remove a spring to lighten it but I think I'll leave mine alone.

Same here, I think the trigger is heavy, but I don't mind it and I have no plans to mess with it at this point.

In fact, I was pleasantly surprised by the trigger. Having read a lot of posts complaining about the trigger and also talking to folks at the range, I was expecting a mushy, gritty pull with an unpredictable break point. Well, the Tavor trigger certainly doesn't compare to my Tikka or any other precision rig I've tried, but it isn't nearly as bad as my earlier expectations. The trigger on my Tavor is definitely closer to an M14s than an ar15, but that's OK for me. Besides, I didn't buy the Tavor to use as a precision rig. For me, it's just for fun:)

However, a range trip is in order before I completely dismiss the option of messing with the trigger. As with all hobbies, sometimes it's fun to modify purely for the sake of modifying:)

I guess this is directed at Canam...will there be any leftovers? I showed the wife the pics of these rifles and she hinted I might be "allowed" to spring for one. I've got a T97 order with ya (didn't get charged though)...but would look into changing to a Tavor...(got to get on that bandwagon somehow...)...

You fort mac boys
