KAC Goodness...

whoot in your face doubters!!!! (that was my urban response)

Yeah I guess if there is already a standard that has that chunky piece in it, they'd have to follow it. Never thought of that.
Now how about a heavy barrel 16" version with all the ###y kit?

16"Hbar, not a full size, with the longer handguards, right up to the gasblock, what is that carbine or midlength, I can never remember what my setup is. and why? cuz pencil barrels are for pussies. I don't need any silly cutouts for a grenade launcher, if it was properly designed it wouldn't mount to the barrel anyways.

only for skinny asians like you. Us fat white folk have no problems with the extra 2 ounces of barrel!

I like heavy barrels, that's all there is to it. they, IMHO, provide better accuracy for a longer time, and are stronger. the weight difference is minimal for carry, but significant for accuracy, again IMHO

I odn't like them punching a hole at the rear of the lower.

I was wondering about that too. That area was beefed up from the A1 to strengthen the lower. Is there some sort or reinforcing sleeve in there?

Looks nice, but I wonder if there really was a need for the ambi mag release and bolt release. Looks like a lot of small tight tolerance parts to get fubared with crude.

I was so excited untill I read the R. Nichols part. I hate that distributor with a passion. How can such a crappy company end up with so much of the canadian market ?

My vote would go to CQB Services.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but since I do alot of my work with JR at The ShootingEdge, they are the natural choice to import these great rifles, yes I must yet again have another AR15 typre rifle:dancingbanana:

Sorry but due to a former TSE employees action at KAC one year (Mark) KAC has no interest in dealing with TSE -- I tried.

That guy was clueless when he was behind the counter at Wholesale Sports and totally un-helpful when he was at TSE. I'm glad they gave him the old heave-ho.

I have a very good contact at R Nicholls,I know I'm going to get hammered by a bunch of people for saying this but its the truth. He's a ex Army guy who in all the time I've dealt with R Nicholls,(and yes the suck), has been very good to deal with. I'll see what is happening there these days.

While you're at it get me a Colt M4. I saw it in their catalogue.
