KAC delayed the release due to pressing issues...
Exactly what (the ####) that means I am unsure.
The URX rails where not really released on time either -- a few trickled out to a selected dealer - and that was it.
Rumour has the work on the KAC PDW requiring alot of time.

Operations Parts was NOT supposed to get a bunch of stuff they did -- their Mil parts are not for civiliand release right now due to demand -- and the civilian sales manager did not know that.
Certain parts are being released -- the new 870 RAS, some SR25 URX's (to a select few dealers -- to a select few clienttel)
The USMC Mk11 Mod2 buy and the US Army M110 are taking a lot of their time -- and the TSWG driven PDW platform is taking the rest.
As well some entity bought up all their URX stocks..
They have a number of civilian carbine for release but are holding back for some reason.

Short answer is who knows -- I am planning on dropping in on them when I am back on leave. Key point to remember is its KAC -- so unless your a .gov entity -- they may or may not care about your feelings (or the timeline they quoted) at all that day.
Its ####ty yes -- and they go thru Commercial sales managers all the time
1) Guy gets fired for selling .mil only items he was not supposed to sell
2) Guy quits due to pissed off production gets diverted all the time to Mil sales.
