KAC URX wrench

Umm, not sure how much easier we could make it.

+1, If you have the need for a KAC wrench and don`t won`t to spend $$ buying one then rent one. Couldn`t be any easier

Props to One Shot Tactical for renting out this expensive tool to all.

Daniel Defense made it much easier with a $20 dollar wrench :)

You dont need the wrench to do anything but tighten the bbl nut.

Secondly I'm confused at why you think you need the wrench to send with your barrel?

See this is why things become confused and by KAC making it difficult by not including or selling a cheap wrench.

I need the barrel NUT not the wrench to send to the the barrel maker so it is on when I get the barrel back. ( I do not want to remove the gas block after its been installed)
To get the barrel nut I have to buy the URX, One Shot will send the wrench along for the ride.

I then have to mail the barrel nut to barrel maker and wait atleast 6 weeks but we all know that could turn into months.

You dont need the wrench now, I am sure Darren will lend you the wrench when you need it.

Originally the URXII was not envisioned to be sold seperately -- due to commercial demand we got Mr. Knight to change his mind, but the wrench had been designed for Armorer Install, thus only few would be required.
We are working on a lot cost wrench, however all the attempts at this have resulted in a 1-2 use wrench, which is not acceptable to the powers that be.

The URX bbl nut can be tightened after the fact -- so you could put the nut on, and install the barrel when you get it.

I'd mail you a nut today if the entire Cross Border Shipping fiasco was not such a big headache

Sorry but a top quality company like KAC not even thinking this would be a issue shows not so good foreward thinking. All other rail makers that need a proprietary tool for install either include the tool or sell it very cheaply.

Some people just feel the need to ##### and complain no matter what.

Just buy the URX and ask them to hold it until your barrel is made, then when the barrel is finished, have them send the URX and wrench to the builder for install......this isn't rocket building here.

.

We want the nut so its installed, how can I install the nut after the gas block is on without taking the gas block off?

What specifically does your bbl make want the nut for?

I am quite willing to post the dimension of the nut if you want.

I need the wrench later not the barrel maker and who knows if a barrel wrench will be around 4 months later, can you say that for sure??

Hell maybe I want to take it off sometime next year but I cant....... no wrench.

Right on Simpleton and a very fitting name.....

I pay for a custom barrel and expect the gas block to be properly aligned and set, I will never remove the gas block unless of major issue.

A monkey with a gimp arm could take off and reinstall a gas block.

Well, if you want to ramble on about KAC, and how they never thought about the "little man" when designing their products, then don't buy the product.

I understand, even with all these extra hoops I still want the URX becasue its just the slickest design.
If KAC would atleast sell us the wrench at cost that would help.
