Last year 17 shooters. This year 12! WHAT'S HAPPENING. Comon guys show up, its a great fun shoot and helps you prepare for chiliquack!

Where is everybody..... ok 4 or 5 guys are in afghanastan, hardly a reason to miss :)

hey when is this ? im a member in Afghanistan right now i get back oct hopefully.
im with 1 vp but kamloops is my home ! and any chance to get shooting my m14 out their im gonna take!

doots: Get back home safely and while you are there, kick some Tali... butts for us. When you get back home in one piece, I'm gonna try and get out west to give you yer own personal M14 clinic. That's the least I can do for a bro from 1VP, I'm formerly Calgary 1VP.... Hungry, OUT!

Kamloops Service Pistol and Rifle Matchs, 2009

Just an early reminder that the dates are booked and we're hoping to see more of you come out and play. May 23, 2009 service pistol at the KTSA short range. May 24, 2009 service rifle at the KTSA long range.
 
I guarantee you would have better turn-outs if you made the dates more public ahead of time. I have been dying to get back in Service Rifle and i only seem to hear about these shoots after the fact!
 
I missed last year due to school...will be there this season for sure...for me even Vokes was very last minute...Service Rifle in general does suffer from a lack of advertising...something the precision guys seem to be very switched on to.
 
KTSA service match

That is a great response!! I'm impressed!! I have taken over running it from the Major. He was showing me the ropes last year and this year it's all me, with lots of his help. That's why I'm getting it out early. I will keep posting updates as the time gets closer. Thanks for the support guys.
On another note I'm also trying to run a fun 3 gun match in March. Stay posted for more info.
 
If possible can you give us some typical courses of fire so newbies can practice beforehand. Do you ever have courses or practice shoots at KTSA?
 
The match is pretty simple. Deliberate prone 200m, Snap kneeling 200m, Rapid kneeling 200m. Deliberate prone 300m, Snap prone 300m, Rapid prone 300m. And if there is time team falling plates.

Yeah I was there like what...2 weeks early?Haha definately one of my better moves.
And the 200m Rapid is sitting not kneeling just for everyones info....unless you guys are doing something different than the BCRA?

I'll be at the Main BCRA match forsure in 2009, not sure about the Kamloops match though. Might go to the Kamloops sniper match instead.
