26" OAL? Why the hell do these companies have to make everything 1/2" too short?
Its not too short, its just right, 26 inches = 660.3999999992867 mm

Oh crap. I'm already trying to figure out how to save up for a RFB and now this. Man that's cool. If for no other reason, just to piss of a Liberal.

Read post #22 again, and maybe the firearms act while you are at it.

OK Smartass.
Here, I'll dumb it down.....The cutoff length is 660mm....that's 25.984"....when have you EVER seen a manufacturer list their measurements to .001"? They DON'T. They round up or down.... ALWAYS.
So...do YOU think .016 is a comfortable buffer? You do realize that a rubber buttpad compresses more than that...don't ya? You think the RCMP wouldn't pull the tape tight to the pad to suit their agenda? Do you even know what the ACTUAL length is? I guarantee you it's not exactly 26".....here's the rub brainiac: A manufacturer adding that extra .5" is a waaaaay safer buffer.
THAT'S what I meant.
Now: Go criticize someone who you really are smarter than, not someone you THINK you are smarter than![]()
When I visit, I'll be sure to suggest that they make an extra thick rubber butt pad for the Canadian market.
Must be a copy of the South African shotgun.
I hope my wife lets me buy this.
easy guys, you both make good points but seriously, its not even for sale yet. Besides, 26" is 26", if its measured wrong (compressing something) then the cop has failed and I doubt it will stand in court. Theyre not all out to get you, and usually just being nice and cooperating is good enough for them and theres no problems. A quick reference to the manufacturers specs will show what OAL is and then its over. Remember, mfg. specs are verified before FRT is issued, so unless an LEO wants to tell Kel Tec and the RCMP that theyre wrong...
