I bought this NR from IRG 2 weeks ago. So, the good, the bad and the ugly...
Bad: This thing is a ton of fun... Great plinker (22wmr makes it certainly not a defense gun, but it's good enough for making holes in paper). Very light, compact, extremely well balanced etc. The almost inexistent recoil is a constant call for follow up shots... this is where it gets bad as you will eat mags at the speed of light. Good thing that IRG sells extras at a reasonable price. You'll soon be good at reloading. Some may argue that 10rds limit is a stopper (mags are shared with the PMR), I think it's ok (just like the 10/22 and mags are sold for a similar price).
Thanks for the review. Thinking of picking one up myself.
Seen a vid comparing the 22wmr to the 5.7x28. One could argue that indeed, the 22wmr could make a viable self defence cartridge.
