the guns are being transferred as we speak...

Any pics of Sub 2000? For those that have seen the CDN version of the Sub is the front sight now at the end of the 18.5" barrel or in the same location as the 16" version so it locks folded?

Here ya go...you can see the front sight sits are at the original spot on the 16" barrel....really good first impressions. Very light, and compact. Fits perfectly and looks great when looking down the sights....

^ I really dislike you, you know that? :p Kidding that looks great, you're one lucky guy, can't wait to see the PMR 30's. The GF bought me a shotgun for xmas but she doesn't let me go anywhere near the box so I gotta wait for that, while you get to toy around with your RFB :(

Initial impressions are you won't be disappointed. The range will be the ultimate factor for me whether or not this things is awesomeness (nice word)...

Hey do you know if they're bringing in the bottom rails? It would nice to be able to mount a grip-pod on there or something equivalent... i intend to make this thing stretch it's legs a little more than 200 yards. :)

Lucky bugger... whats in the baggie near the barrel?

That Sub 2000 looks sweet!

Why does we require the 18.5" barrel as compared to the original 16"? I was under the impression that if the manufacturer made the barrel with less then a 18.5" barrel that it could still be considered non-restricted?

I have a 10/22 with a 16.5" barrel from the factory, why isn't that a restricted gun?

Also, do you plan on bringing on any rails for the Sub2000 for mounting an Eotech?

Wanstalls said they have the lower rail but I'm not putting one on for now...trying it without first...I'm kinda interested in it's CQB characteristics...the baggie contains the attachments for the sling. I don't think I'll be using that either (at this point...but you never know) :D

If it's a semi auto centrefire, then it needs to have a barrel length of at least 18.5 inches and an OAL of over 26 inches to be non restricted. If it's a centrefire but not a semi auto, or if it's a rimfire, then the barrel length doesn't matter - it only has to have an OAL of over 26 inches.

And I agree, the Sub-2000 looks pretty awesome. I want one.:D

Maybe I'm blind, but I didn't see anything in this thread relating to the magazine capacity of the Sub 2000....

Can we use our regular 10 round mags with the Sub2000, or do they have to be pinned at 5 rounds because it's a rifle???

If you use pistol mags (which are the only things the Sub-2000 will feed from anyhow) ;) , you can have 10-rounders...:)
