Man, I'm getting tired of waiting for this rifle.. same old YouTube vids, same old ktog board, minimal info from Vault, no one else on CGN talking about them (obviously because no one owns one)...
Sure hope to hear some good news before Summers end... In the meantime, I want to figure out how to get ahold of a Red Lion forend.
Not interested in pistol grip/stock, takes away from the appeal of the rifle to me, can't fold etc. especially with NEA's upcoming 15's

Wake me up when the SU-22's roll-in. I'm sure everything that can be done, IS being done, but honestly....the wait has a very negative impact on the interest level. SU-22 $ is now rolling into the Savage .223 bolt action fund. Very curious to hear how the owners of these rifles like them when (if) they get here.

Agreed! I am eyeing other alternatives now. Hope to hear some news soon.

Patience is a virtue, or so I'm told......

What really rattles my chain is all the RFB related questions in this thread, hey RFB lovers start your own thread!! This one is for su16 fanboys, so buzz off!!

hate to burst your bubble but the thread started as a Kel-Tec one...not specific to the SU16...the RFB just happen to be the first to get here (and in people's hands)...so if you'd like to start an SU16 only thread have at 'er...

Yea, I almost bought a mini14
I hear ya there, I was about to buy a Mini when I first heard SU-16 was coming in.. then I decided to save my cash, although I still do like the Minis
Keltec wins for weight primarily.

I know many of you guys prefer the charlie front sight, but I'm pleased to see the bravo chosen for the "F", and not the cheap plastic alpha sight.
Here's to the rifle coming in before Christmas

Am I the only one here who's been paying their su16 off slowly? The longer it takes for it to arrive the more it will be paid off, so far I prepaid $750 only a few more bucks left!

Oh, nice. Mine is in the sock drawer :p
I got a jar on my desk with a slot cut through the lid for deposits... got a cardboard label on the side with the name of the gun I happen to be saving for at any given time..
I just keep putting a new label over top of the previous saved for and purchased addition - so far got 4 labels on this one :)
I like cash. Sure I could save in one of my accounts, but holding, seeing, smelling, touching the real thing is much better than a slip of paper or plastic that represents the real thing.
It'a a good feeling to pull out a folded over wad (all faces forward & aligned, large bills on the outside) and say, "this here is my new SU-16 Rifle!!
Wad in one hand, pistol in the other, singing Mamma I'm comin' home!

If I had the cash in my bank account or in a sock I would have bought at least one gun with it by now and traded it for yet another gun. If I give the cash to the dealer it's gone, and I won't be tempted.
