Just bumping this thread up as I finally got my rdb to the range.
Did an initial field strip at home and blue loctited almost everything just to avoid potential issues that others have experienced.
I ran some 55 grain campro fmj over h335, my ar15 load, and used a fixed 10x bushnell in a vortex cantilever mount.
Gas setting out of the box was perfect. Recoil impulse was a bit strange at first but got used to it quickly. Brass came out in a neat little pile looking unscathed. Dialed Down the gas setting 1 notch and tested function again with no stoppages.
Ran 150 rounds through her in gen3 pmags, hera mags, mft pistol mags, the included 10 round mag, and the metal cpd 10 round pistol mags. All mags fed flawlessly and the bolt locked back after the last round on all of them.
Accuracy was acceptable at 50 yards with no load development for the gun and also being my first time with a bullpup. I wanted to put my left hand under the rear of the gun to support it but the "D" in RDB made that impossible. The trigger is amazing.
On a side note, i had my wk180 there with me and it had several stoppages to the point i gave up on it, where the rdb ate all the ammo i made.
I would highly recommend the rdb to someone on the fence
