Kel-tec RFB

here is a direct copy and paste of the response from; and email sent to kel-tec. hopefully no harm comes from posting this.

The Grip was changed to say 308 WIN in order to pass regulations. The barrel however, remains un-changed from US model besides being not threaded.

Just inquiring as to the chambering of Canadian specific RFB's, I realize the markings have been changed, but would like to know if the actual chamber profile was changed.

Can the rfb fire 7.62x51 NATO in Canadian spec?

Hate to argue but part of that answer can't be true because the US models come with an 18 inch barrel, ours have an 18.5 inch barrel to be non-restricted.

Also, Kel-tec apperently tried several time to export it by simply changing the marking to .308 but the USDOS still would not issue export permit. So they had to ream the chambers to .308.

7.62 x 51 or .308? Take it to someone with bore gauges and quit listening to internet experts, if you really care.

Mine has handled both without a problem. This is a modern firearm, not a piece of Royal Doulton china.
