Brother I took a LOOOONG hiatus from this place and I couldn't agree more. Pedo supporters and people supporting the OIC and bans and confiscation? Am I losing my ####ing mind? Am I going crazy? Or am I getting super trolled??
 
I'm so glad I just use this site for the equipment exchange and nothing else. If I wanted to see a bunch of old people yelling at eachother I'd make a Facebook account.

Whats aweful is that we all saw the same videos of the incident, and some people see it as taking lives, and the other people who have empathy see it as him saving his own.

Was going there a good idea? Of course not. It was dangerous. But god damn if he didnt do a very courageous thing and all the power to him for surviving death narrowly at the hands of straight up criminals.

You think our government had good reason to ban our five shot semi auto rifles? Thats absurd. Theyre no more dangerous than a pump shotgun or a car. If you dont like them then dont buy one. There isnt a single incident on record in this country of anyone using a lawful ar15 in a harmful manner.

You say you hate liberals, but agree with meaningless gun bans. I think the reality is you hate leftists, but you ARE a liberal. I dont mean that in a hateful manner, truly.

And for the record, whether youve served in the military or worked in construction your whole life, it doesnt give you one damn bit of superior perspective over anyone else. Its not a badge of 'i know better than you'.

at a time when we as a firearms community are trying to win public support and trying to educate the masses... these mags are completely a step in the wrong direction.. whatever your politics are, this is just in bad taste.

Agreed. Those who think its about our public appearance arent paying enough attention. It doesnt matter how hard you say pretty please leave us alone, the anti gunners are foaming at the gums regardless. May as well be yourself. We have nothing to hide, and we arent criminals.
