I recently purchased a Kentucky Long Rifle Flintlock by a builder named T.R. Girodat. I believe he has passed some 6 years ago.
The gun is in pristine condition. By the wear on the frizzen it has been shot quite a bit. There is not a single mark on the barrel or the wood. I have owned many black powder guns but this one is by far the nicest.
It has a 43.5 inch barrel.
Can anyone give me more information on the builder and provide me with an estimated value of this rifle. I don't wish to sell it, I just want to insure it.
