You'd think it would... no moving parts...
As for mounting... if you're right handed... I'd say mount it on the right side of the rim on the cap. That way it almost looks like it's right over the sights.
As for AR mounting... get a velcro strap, and then velcro it on...

Just thinking about it. Web reviews already state that the lens can be off centered during assembly and opening up the cam is required to recentering the lens. Also seeing that its a very simple design that I feel that direct recoil will most likely move the internals. This is after all a $35 micro cam and not your solid built GoPro HD Cam.
Most definitely the nices in regards to size. Double side tape under the brim of the baseball cap and invert/flip the video in the setting log and we have a very nice discrete HD ball cap cam. Picture quality is much better than the iKam sunglasses cam I bought from Sail.

I have mounted it on a gun using the velcro. Worked just fine, except muzzle blast and recoil took camera off target. It would mount upside down on a rail. I did not know it was possible to flip an upside down image.

I take mine when I remember it,somehow I always forget the damn thing
The only problem i have had so far is when the battery is low the camera turns itself off after a few seconds.. My own fault for leaving it on when not in use.. but other wise its been good..

I tried attaching mine on top of my hearing protection. I found that the angle I wear my hat was not consistent enough so at the suggestion of another member I tried it on top of my ears. Still not the perfect angle but I am getting closer. And a warning for all of you ipsc guys and gals, this video is not in slo-mo, it's just ODPL practice night

I don't want to sound like a jerk so if you already know this ignore me.
If you changed your grip to the "thumbs forward" grip it would sure help you out alot. In the IPSC world there alot of different things different people do, but 99% of them are using that grip. That's gotta mean something right?
Also how are you liking the SR9? I see you managed to get one in OD. Nice. lol

The video is NOT with the camera in this thread, but with a pair of sunglasses that have a camera in them I borrowed for that stage. It does show you the "thumbs forward" grip though.

Hey, I appreciate any tip I can get! I love the SR9. It is my second one actually...I had a two-tone but really wanted an OD so once I found one I sold the two-tone to another CGNer!
That's the nice thing about shooting with a camera. You (and others) can look back and see what you did well and what can be improved upon. I've been lazy lately and haven't been taping, but perhaps I should start again.... When I do slow steady practice shooting I have an awesome group dead center. When I shoot IPSC style stuff I start going too fast and end up all over the place. Luckily I'm still hitting the paper, but that's about it lol.
Just got mine in the mail the other day. Tested it and it works great. Had a hard time at first trying to set the date and time on my Mac but after reading thru the internet was able to find the right program to download. Was able to set the date and time as well as set the video length etc.
I've gone through a bunch of different methods of trying to video my hunts over the last few years.. This is def the best 40 bucks i've spent in the last little while.. Bye bye bulky video camera attached to my bow and turkey gun !!!!
