Just picked up this Kimber Montana 8400 30-06.
In my experience its easier to shoot accurately than the lighter 84L.
1/2 inch group at 100 yards with first load tried.
The scope ring bases have a shallow groove so that you can use the iron sights when the scope is removed. I like to have backup iron sights. When I lived on the west coast, I shot my best Blacktail buck in pouring rain with iron sights.
