Grey Kim-Pro II finish, fluted barrel/bolt, fluted and hollowed handle, aluminum trigger guard, threaded brake and Opti-Fade Open Country Camo stock(read:Sitka). Comes in 308,270,280AI and 30-06.

Personally, the camo stock leaves me uninterested. Supposedly 13 oz lighter than the 84L. Nicer would have been stainless fluted with Montana stock in perhaps a different solid color.

Maybe a 280 AI and paint the stock. :dancingbanana:

I believe that is probably not going to be made fast enough to make the market happy. The should make the first two runs in 7mm-08 and .280 AI to keep the public happy.

I like it. But will it shoot......

No 7-08 listed....yet.

Of course it'll shoot, I hear Kimber is gonna have a 1/2 MOA guarantee with included test target, 3 shot group fired in basement of their NYC shop at the 25 yard range...........just like Cooper. :D

I am still in shock seeing the words accurate and Kimber in the same sentence. Of the 6 Kimbers I had in hand only seen one performed well shooting under an inch. The rest were anywhere from 2" to Minute of Barn.

Too bad about the brake but at least it's threaded on so a guy can get rid of it and put a thread protector on instead. Neat rifle, overall, Kimber's listening to the marketplace, a factory rifle with the appearance of a full-custom mountain rifle. Guys are paying $5,000+ for a rifle of the same specs.

Your already here...

Sorry, time for a grammar Nazi moment, this is one of those ones that drives me nuts............
