I really wish Kimber would start turning out .260's again. Not that I want a 4.5 pound .260. But this gun, sans muzzle brake screams .260 Rem. Dont know what kind of hooved animal would walk away from a 120 TTSX precisely delivered by a VXII 2-7X33 The .243 would also get schit done.

They can't even get a new run of montana 7mm-08 out to the market (I've had one on order forever). I won't hold my breath that thing will ever get here. But a neat rifle.

Anybody have an idea on what the price tag would be.

The kimber guy told me that the 84L montanas are built and waiting to cross the border any time now, perhaps they will have a run of 84m's with them.

When I saw the rifle in Vegas they told me msrp will be just over $2000. BUT they had just got their show rilfes 2 days before the show so they're still working on marketing details.

The rifle also comes with talley lightweight rings and a cap for the muzzle if you remove the break (which I would).

This thing is light! I'm not struck on the kimpro finish but it's supposed to stand up very well. I hope they get there crap together and get them built and delivered. I've been waiting for a 84L montana for a long time already!

I have. With 120gr Sierras, 129gr SSTs, 130gr Bergers and 120gr TSXs it was 1.5" inches outta the shoot. Playing with seating depth and such I am sure I can improve it. Either way it will work well for the SIL.
