Yes you forgot the part where you pay for the chamois meat though lol
Croatian chamois hunts are cheaper with flights than most goats I think, plus you fly into Zagreb not Prince George
^ That’s been my dream for a while. Lots of Swiss and what is now Northern Italian ancestors and relatives, would love to go hunt Chamois in the alps. Probably moving back to BC so stone sheep, caribou and goats will be on the menu instead.
It might just be my google/ foreign language skills but it seems like while the style is Austrian in origin most mass produced guns are coming from Germany and Italy these days.
Anyone know of French makers? How about Swiss?
I know they are into Martini actions and have or had single shot, iron sight and caliber restriction laws for chamois hunting. I see blasers in the required single chambering with no magazine and John wick style cartridge holder in front of the action being used by young guys online.
More interested in KIPPLAUFS though

That wood is top notch, real beauty.
I've had a soft spot for the Luxus Arms M11, especially for the CCH variant like yours.
That Luxus is something else, does it take down?
Optics trade eu might get your mounts to you faster?
Phil do you have a link to any Slovene kjipplaujff makers?
I've seen them a couple of times on the EE, but never a chambering that interested me. They didn't seem to sell quickly; underappreciated rifles.
A buddy and I drew a Manitoba elk tag this year; I think this rifle will get the nod to go.
Someday I will have a 'smith drill/tap the flat top of the chamber area and install a one- or two-piece Weaver base, and then mount that scope in a set of light rings...and it will then be the perfect hunting rifle. Someday...
