Okay Kiwi M14 Addicts!

Got some news for you... I will be in Queenstown, Rotorua, and Auckland around 25 - 27 July 2011.

How good is that?

You M14 lovers wanna M14 clinic? I cannot fly with my tools, but hey, :D Let's discuss some potential M14 fun in Kiwiland! ;)

Cheers, Mate!

Ask Linda and Keith if they would kindly spread the word on their net about your planned trip. The Aussies have long gun problems worse than Canada, but there may be amateurs in the French sense of the word who would be interested in sitting in the back row.

Lucky dawg!
U get to see the some of the great can work to use on this platform.
Have fun & post some pic's of there hard ware for us who can never think of owning can's due to pure political B.S.
maple_leaf_eh Aussies and Kewi's r 2 different countries ;)

Oh i might have to buy another M14 specifically for this !

i have a service rifle club meeting this weekend so i will spread the word as 90% of our members own at least 1x norc.

Instead of Rotorua, would you consider coming the extra hours drive to Hamilton ?

Hey, I'm all yours. You kiwis gotta transport me around. I'm flying into Rotorua from Sydney. Millenium Hotel in Rotorua is where our tour is hanging for 2 days. You got me for one day.

Who wants to be my point man? Maybe Fenix.NZ will chime in here!

This is gonna be a first... An M14 clinic without ANY of my tools! :D

So about the Hamilton location....if we can get a classroom large enough to seat all of the M14 addicts, then let's make it happen. Tables, chairs, washroom facilities.

Wow, this can be epic. My 33rd M14 Clinic is gonna be down under! :)

Cheers,
Barney

too awesome :D
you Kiwi's are in for a treat

and Hungry.... hopefully one of them boys will have a hushed m14 for you to shoot and have your pics taken with so you can post for all of us to envy...... especially Satain hehehehe

You're at 33 now?? WOW :)

Barney - a quick one to add to the clinic gear review. The "M1/M14 Buddy" action sled is AWESOME but is NOT compatible with the ARMS18 ;)

Yup, I'm up at 33 (New Zealand) clinics and counting.

I'm currently arranging some varmint hunting safari(s) between Sydney and Canberra right now with some Oz mates. Thank goodness for teacher exchanges between our high school staff and theirs (in Canberra). :D

I'm told Oz is a varmint hunters paradise! :) Just gotta ensure the "Dingo don't get my baby."

Gotta get working on my accent!

Cheers, mate!

Hungry, are you sure you can't use me as a bearer?

Besides being a teacher with multi-area specialists and more, I am willing to wear a flannel plaid lumber jacket as a lap-lap and carry a case of beer on my head.

I am also prepared to wear a tuxedo continuously and act as a Gentlemans' Gentleman.
I have experience in training guide dogs in locating spent casings should that prove useful.

Anyway, tell us when you go, have fun and post lots of pics.

Hey hungry, if you want to type something up for me to post on the fishnhunt forum here in NZ to advertise your coming, I'll be more than happy too. Theirs a few M14 owners on that forum http://www.fishnhunt.co.nz/forum/YaBB.cgi?num=1251705110

I'm here. Just packing the Rav4 right now since have a CQB match to help run tomorrow AM. Will be back and then we could get some typing action and a description for you to post up at your GC. Will discuss these details after my match tomorrow! :D

Great news Hungry!
There's a lot of interest in the Norc 305 in N.Z.
Please post more as the plans firm up.

I'm in Tasmania at the moment, but would gladly "cross the ditch" for one of your seminars.

Is your tour taking you through Christchurch? Normally people either fly in or out of chch and it's probably got far higher numbers of shooters than queenstown.

I would suggest contacting gun city as they imported most of the 305s so may well be keen to help out with a workshop and tools. They already run regular reloading workshops. You will want to go and have a look at their shop anyway I would imagine. Also if suppressors and fine engineering are your thing you will want to visit gunworks.

Central otago (queenstown) is a varmint hunters paradise. Someone should be able to get you onto some shooting while you are there.

Also we haven't had an earthquake in over a week so it's perfectly safe.

Oddly enough I've got the ONE day in Rotorua, and 2 days in Queenstown. The tour used to swing through Chch, but after the sad devastation, Rotorua had the nod. Hey, maybe we can have 2 pointmen: one in Rotorua/Hamilton area and one pointman to arrange a classroom/gun clubhouse in Queenstown. :D

Either way, my mom (dad backed out on this trip) said to 'have at 'er' with my kiwi mates while I'm down under. I've got 4 days in Sydney and some new found mates (exchange teacher at our school from Canberra) who will take me on a 'safari' for varmints!

Barney

Reports of our demise have been greatly exaggerated. In at least half of the city you can flush the toilet and as I say it's been a week and a half since the last quake.

We are getting closer and closer. The good news is that I'm making a pile of gas cylinder assembly shims for you Kiwis... the bad news is well, we don't have any bad news!
