Knight's SR-25 Carbine

With the Obermeyer SS barrel you get a carbine that is typical .5-.75MOA, some do better.

The Chrome Lined barrels are 1MOA to 1.5MOA.

Some people like exacting precision...

Hey KevinB,

will there be a major difference in features between this ltd production run and the possible future production commercial SR25s?

Im hoping the production ones will have the ambi features and still also keep the double high pinned GB.

For 2010 we will have two different commercial guns
20" SR-25 Match Rifle
16" SR-25 Carbinem the 2010 gun is different that the ones we are offering for sale, as the "Battle Rifle" type guns we are not longer making for the government and are offering the last of these for commercial sale, the 2010 carbine will be a commercial variant of our new government carbine

Neither will have ambi bolt release but all else is ambi.

KevB,

will the 2010 commercial Sr25 carbines have double high pinned GB?

thanks in advance

It will have a pinned on lower profile gas block suppressor mount (effectively a lightened double high gas block) - with the integral front sight, there is no reason to mount the Mk11 push button sight, which really was the reason for the double high gas block.

And I was going to spend $8K until I read that... Deal is off.

Read what KevinB posted again... the ones we got hold of are the clear-out Battle Rifles... they have the ambi controls... the next generation of 2010 guns that they will be releasing won't have the ambi bolt release.

So the 2 guns we have coming are supposed to have the ambi bolt release still... get them while they last

There is a version with Stainless Steel Match Barrel, however those rifles are marked Mk11 not SR-25 and they are more money with very little else different. We did not order any but as I understand it they are still currently available from Knight's.

For more info on those email me

Correction... the Stainless Steel Match Barrel is the barrel used in the Mk11 but the Commercial release (part #25649) unit is NOT marked Battle Rifle or Mk11 they are in fact marked SR-25... just wanted to clarify that (my earlier post incorrectly stated they were marked Mk11).

Sorry about any confusion.
