Knoxx / Blackhawk! SpecOps Stock for 870s

So I couldn't resist the coolaid monster again this week.....
and got one of these to try on my 870.

I know it's kinda ghey, but I'm reading Max Brooks' "World War Z" this week and was having difficulty sleeping.

Will take it to the range on Friday and report back.

I put the Limbsaver onto my Knoxx stock and called it the "Wussmaster 2000" Have them on both my 590 and my Grizzly, never will go back to a regular stock. Blackhawk is starting to use Limbsaver pads on their stocks as well.

I think the Limbsaver does a great job, both together though make for a gun anyone can shoot. Even with 3" #4 and slugs.

That's a sweet shotgun, tell me what purpose do you use it for? I have a Moss 590 that I have got rid of nuisance bears and other animals with. Just ordered a new ATI stock, heat-shield with Ghost Ring sights and forend with rails for flashlight mount for those times I have to respond in the dark. Flashlight in one hand with gun in the other is not the best setup.

This one isn't for hunting or "pest control"... I guess it's purpose was just to learn to shoot a shotgun... then it morphed into a little project.

Little did I know that 870's are the ARs of the shotgun world...

Wait until you get your middle finger bit when you shoot and the trigger guard flies back into the grip.

That happened to me one too many times so I got rid of that stock.

It's never happened to me and I've put a bucket load of #4 buck though my marine magnum..

I dont know how that finger pinch thing works.
I have an 870 super max gobbler and shoot 2-1/4 oz 3.5 inch heavy shot turkey loads through mine with no issue at all,in fact i was so impressed with its performance that i put one on my other 3" 870 turkey as well.#4 buck,deadcoyote,rem hd bb whatever i put through it shoots like a dream with hardly any feelt recoil and very minimal muzzle climb,the knox stock is the real deal,works great.
When i did the conversion however i did not use the supplied forend,that thing is sh_t.
I painted the stock wood forend flat black,much better imo.

I have the Spec Ops stock and never have any troubles. Not once got my middle finger bitten by the trigger guard or the pistol grip. I really enjoy it.

Did those sights come stock on your gun? If not which ones are they? What light system is that?

Where's the best place to get the Knoxx stocks from? S&J is out of stock. Can you use a S&J single point sling-mount with the Knoxx or does it move it back too far?
