Kobra red dot sight

Any pics of it installed?

My only complaint is that my elevation locking nut is stuck and won’t let me properly zero it. Sent a message to tactical imports and have yet to get a response. But overall I love the optic and the look.

Hmmm how is that base any different then the picatinny mount one.

Hopefully THIS can snap pics of all the scope mount bases they have so we can all stop guessing what will and won't work

i can see big difference, the threaded pins are placed further back on the side plate so the RD could sit forward away from your eye and trigger finger. as far as fitment to other AK rails, you have to actually try it out.

Looks the same as my prototype base then LOL hope it works. Might order up a kobra now and see

would it be a good idea to put a small dab of blue loctite to the pins for the scope mount plate?

It would not be amiss, though it is unknown at this time if shimmying from the trigger group transferring to the pins will cause them to slowly unscrew. Certainly possible, and no harm even if there is not issue with them unscrewing.

Nice set-up

SO, does kobra red dot mount $588 come with right safety? just considering for this red dot pack on my original version of T81 folder

Thank you

I believe it does come with a right hand safety. Mine already had the RH safety installed when I got it.

Well I've got an old style left reciever sode safety I'd trade for the new right sode reciever safety.
I'm a lefty so the new style works out perfect for me
