Please don't take much from the naysayers and the whiners on this thread. It's great to see another small Canadian company, something people constantly complain there are not enough of, then are quick to criticize, when they don't offer their products for practically free (must be a Liberal thang).

Keep on doing what you are doing, and i hope you become a raging success. I for one will be watching.

I'd have to agree with the bare bones approach. It's what I personally would be interested in and I can't help but think it'd sell more rifles/ make more money in the long run. Either way, sweet concept.

I'll wait until these start popping up on the EE in the $500ish range to pick one up. $500-$600 I don't think is too bad a price for one of these.



They may be listed at that in the EE, but I doubt many sell for over $500, or any for over $600

And still with the added accessories make it a good value.

I bought one. Originally thought to modify an SKS with removable mag, new stock, threaded barrel, and optics mount.
Ended up being more than $1000 with the Gunsmithing fees. I couldn't justify that kind of cost.
This remanufactured SKS is affordable by comparison.

Hi Chad,

I'm probably one of the first SKS-KD owners in Canada. Really like the rifle and find it is perfect for what I need.
Really appreciate the top rail for mounting optics and the threaded muzzle and the removable mags.
I priced these options and it came out over $1K. Thanks for coming out with this at a better price.
BTW, I'm the guy who had some issues with the rifle and you helped out. Everything works perfectly now.
