Aluminum would get chewed up pretty good and I bet fast. My krink gets pretty dirty on the shorty

All depends on whether someone thinks it's worth their trouble to manufacture something for our small market.

How many people want these things and at what price?

I will talk to my Smith and a local Machine shop who would want one??

Depneds on the price. Get a quote and I am sure you could sell them here. The more you get made, the cheaper the price could be.
I would be in for one. It would go perfectly with my 10.5 upper I want to build up.
Hoddie.

CMMG in the states make one for around 140 USD. It more or less a cookie cutter and rebar cutter integrated into one

yep that would work just fine....I think to keep the price down I will need to do at least ten and will aim for the $90 range + or - a few dollars

Factor in that you'll need to do some extensive testing to make sure the thing actually works and won't blow up in someone's face. Somewhere along the production and marketing line someone is liable to litigation.

There is no way you could get these made for $90 bucks , they have multiple pieces and you have to use the right kind of steel+set up+labour++ I bet $500 bucks each :)

ok Well I will make have one made for me.....

Just trying to keep somthings Canadian....and not have the hassles of get AR parts over the border....All us Canadians do is find a reason not to do things

If my R33 FH blows up can I sue him???I wouldn't.......all I wanted to do is get ten made up....in Canada for us gunnutz.....I will get mine made and post pictures after...then I will send the prints and cost to all those who want them so they can do at own risk(NO ONE WILL SUE ME)......I will get it done in two pieces can and cone....not a clone of the Krink just along the same lines My smith does Stainless Barrels and has all the bar stock there he also does black oxide coatings.

Sounds like a good plan with good intentions Jamie, but isn't a group buy from Noveske more feasible?

maybe it is....I think the good people at Noveske are doing a great job!!But the Krink is not some new High tech idea...it not going to be hard to make...

but I don't shop at wall mart...just trying to keep money here at home....

trade is not free, they get our trees,Oil,......and the paper work would be NONE;)
