Kroil-- wow- this stuff cleans!

I have hunted in every store around here for Kroil and never have found it. Can maybe find Deep Creep I think I seen it someplace. If anybody has other solutions would like to know what products will work.

Canadian Tire, Napa, Carquest. And its wife approved in doors. It has a slight smell but nothing serious, less smell then WD 40.

Kroil is penetrating oil - don't waste it as a bore cleaner. If you want a REALLY clean bore - first use your standard/favorite bore cleaning goop until the patches comes out clean ... then use JB Bore cleaner paste ... until the patches come out clean... you will be AMAZED at how that stuff works!!!!

As far as the smell,I like it almost as much as bacon.Great stuff.Read somewhere that people mix it with shooters choice, let it sit to form into a sort of jelly and use it to clean the bore.Rolls Royce Aerospace uses the stuff so it is definitely a top notch product.

No an option for most of us up here as Midway won't touch Canadian orders with a barge pole unless they have changed their tune or you have a US credit card and stateside address.

Doesn't have to be a U.S. credit card, but you do need a U.S. mailing address.

I have used Kroil as a penetrating oil and have found (very subjectively) that PB Blaster works better for me. Have been using both in automotive applications for about a decade and freed lots of rusty bolts (but not all) with PB being the most effective so far. I have read of "Mouse Milk" and would like to give this a try as well some time. IMO..fwiw

Went to the amazon.ca site and they had cases for over $100 but eventually re-directed to the .com site.
Less than $20 USD and no shipping to my US address.
The cleaning video is excellent and will try it once my order arrives.

Try ATF and acetone.. Apparently PB blaster was like 3rd on this penetrating test for best pentrate oil. The mixture was #1. PB blaster it stinks and I don'[t find it works well. Its better then WD40 but not by much.

Is there an industrial products supplier anywhere near you? Might be your best bet. The place I get mine in Bellingham WA is essentially an industrial hardware store that caters to the public. But you should be able to find Deep Creep.
