Guess?
I painted up my USGI glass stock in a desert flectarn camo, but I am thinking of going a different route with the colour. Does anyone have a good way of striping the paint off? I know I could sand it down, but I have a few layers and this could take sometime. I don't want to paint over, because it will be to thick when I am done. Are they any good chemicals, natrual or otherwise, which I could use?

Thanks!

Krylon is my cross then eh?...:D

Well, it is better than Durocoat...I have read that that stuff is near impossible to get off...

You should do your own test before posting that my friend, or at least do a GOOGLE on DURACOAT vs KRYLON, i DON'T say KRYLON is not got, but i say it FAR from Armacoat or Duracoat for durability !!!!

I don't think you understood my post. I meant Krylon is better than Durocoat in the sense that it can be removed easier. I know that durocoat is more durable, which means it is harder to get off!

this topic had me wondering though, if one was to remove duracoat... sanding would be the only option?

would leaving it there be an option? I love my camo scheme but one day i'll feel the need to fill the selector cutout so i'll do another camo scheme, maybe i could just paint over? (I'd be using krylon like he did :D)

If you want a "stock" stock to work with I'm sure someone on here will trade you. That seems like a pretty cool paint job to me.

Thanks....I was just thinking that I would like something more "forest" camo. I haven't been to the desert in years....:D

It was my first attempt and I still have some stencils from bulldogarms left that I want to use.
