I went with a small tripod that has a low CoG footprint

Here is mine with the legs extended beside the bench today. The legs on my tripod can widen until they are fairly close to parallel for a lower/wider and more stable stance.
I have arca mounts for my rifles, scopes, labradar, rangefinder and Kestrel. I find the tripod very useful for a range of things.

Do you have any issues picking up shots at that distance?
I have to deal with a braked rifle now and was thinking about how to deal with it (they suggest a barrier).
Your solution looks great.
I have no issues picking up shots like this.
I have brakes on everything so I set it up about 1-1.5 feet in front of the rifle and 1-1.5 feet to the right or left of the rifle. I have done this with 308, 338 Lapua, 6mm's, 224 Valkyrie, 223 and no issues.
I also put a straight barreled pen on the top V and look down the pen to line up the target. I did not miss picking up a single shot today, same as most days.
