I'm curious what everyone is using to mount their Labradar chonogoraphs for prone and bench shooting? Is the factory plate mount sufficient or are there better options?

I use the plate mount that LabRadar sells as it fits the bench at CSC where I mostly go. If I was shooting outside where there are not any benches I would get a tripod. It it has to be a good one as some I know have bought cheap ones then ##### because it fell over and damaged the LabRadar.

I use a 2" Arca camera mount into my leveling base on a Pig field tripod, with the legs out laterally so it sits as low as possible. This way the legs are way out to the side and it's super stable as the tripod weighs a few pounds.
It sits higher than the rifle when prone but always picks up the projectile.

I've used their bench mount, but now use their Mini Tripod

Here is mine with the legs extended beside the bench today. The legs on my tripod can widen until they are fairly close to parallel for a lower/wider and more stable stance.
I have arca mounts for my rifles, scopes, labradar, rangefinder and Kestrel. I find the tripod very useful for a range of things.

Do you have any issues picking up shots at that distance?
I have to deal with a braked rifle now and was thinking about how to deal with it (they suggest a barrier).
Your solution looks great.

I have no issues picking up shots like this.
I have brakes on everything so I set it up about 1-1.5 feet in front of the rifle and 1-1.5 feet to the right or left of the rifle. I have done this with 308, 338 Lapua, 6mm's, 224 Valkyrie, 223 and no issues.
I also put a straight barreled pen on the top V and look down the pen to line up the target. I did not miss picking up a single shot today, same as most days.

Thanks, I’ll try a tripod.
I’ve been using a straw to line it up, much like your pen I find it helped.
