I really hope these crimped magazines can be inserted on a closed bolt with 10 rds in them... all my other crimped mags are 5 rounders and they can’t. I really have high hopes for these ones.

Doesn't the May order ships May 15th? That was 2 weeks ago. So 1-2 days to get to alberta, then a few more days to ship to customers. No?

Thanks for the update. Sucks to hear that, but not a huge deal breaker for me as I already assumed that would happen as all my other crimped magazines have that same issue. I was just hoping that wouldn’t be the case, that’s why I only ordered 4.

My 10th round fits just fine in both my mags, Just no play after that.

That is awesome. Sadly I had planned to use them for IPSC. With them difficult to close on a closed bolt, that takes them out my competition plans.

Still awaiting shipping. So it will be a while yet for me. Some folks already got their mags. Oh well.

IRG you should crimp them slightly lower on the next batch. 10.5 capacity is nice for usability.

I don't think it's IRG crimping them, I think it's the manufacturer.

Got mine today. 10th cartridge is a barely-gets-in fit. The other short LAR-15 mags with plastic extension have only maybe 2mm of play after the 10th cartridge. (I tested one sample of each type.)

My 10th round fit good guys, didn't have any play after that though,

Here's what I did:

Loaded the mags with 9 rounds each, I then loaded the 10th round with a 7.62x39 Then seated the mags on a closed bolt and gave them a little bit of a wiggle. I can now fit 10.2- 10.3 rounds of 223, they seat on a closed bolt with ease now.

Do this at your own risk though, You do run the risk of breaking the top tac weld

i received 6 of these a few days ago. very slick. 10th round fits easily. bolt pulls back and can strip the round no problem.

picked my 4 up from the post office, great quality mags. There little bit of play after the 10th round but will not seat on a closed bolt in either my colt at or my tavor x95, maybe after some breaking in they will.
