I have a metal one and it doesn't seem like the mags really "click" in like with a regular baseplate. I have found it in my range bag with one mag starting to slide off. Between this and the fear of damaging the feed lips on the bottom mag when going prone or off the bench I think I am just going to use Magpul/Tactipul baseplates.
Speak to Canada ammo he might know of where to get metal ones

You might find the same issues with any aftermarket base plates as they reduce capacity ever so slightly. Another post suggested filing down the base posts on the followers by a few millimeters.
