LAR15-Mags

so did you guys receive it and tried it? how is it?

There is another thread on the forum that discussed how weird looking the C production LAr 15 angled mags when they are cooupled

Now, that really depends on how you use the coupler now, doesn't it. Say, you're shooting prone, do you really want to stick your open magazine face into the dirt & snow?
Considering the purpose of the coupler, is to couple 2 magazines together, and the dust cover doesn't prevent this, how can it defeat the purpose of the coupler?

Say I'm shooting prone, would I rather have two shorter mags so I didn't have to worry about digging my mag (open end or not) into the dirt/snow?
I look at the purpose of the coupler being three fold:
1. it looks tacticool to have a mag the proper length
2. when you're raining lead down on that piece of paper, it's easier to change out and flip the mag so you can continue the lead storm
3. fewer mags to take to the range, twice the capacity
