Here's a pic of this year's Muley. He's decent enough to be called a "braggin' Buck" and sports lots of mass. My hunting is over for this season [Except for predators] Regards, Eagleye

saturday morning mulie...Nov 6

Just thought I would share a pic....this is the first mulie I had taken ever....got up early this morning and figured I would go for a quick hike..went just above the house, about 5 minutes drive, spotted a few does right off the bat..walked all of 15 minutes..come to an open field, and low and behold ...look what was standing there....he ran up to the top of hill and stopped, gave me a broadside shot at about 100 yds....he flinched abit then walked off like nothing happened....I gave him about 10 minutes, then slowly walked to the top of the hill...he was lying there like he was bedded down, so I had to finish him with a shot through the neck..spotted,shot,dressed and hung in the garage....all under 60 minutes including the drive to and from...awesome is all I can say...now I have to find a whitetail this afternoon....

Just got back from my whitey trip tonight...managed to find one...small rack but body size was great....was a basket 3x4....weighed 150 lbs dressed though.....was running across an open field, when he slowed up enuff for a shot, was about 250 give or take....took out the heart and lungs and a partial shoulder on his passenger side......300 mag with 180's....now I don't know what to do with myself tomorrow.....rabbits and grouse I guess...LOL

it wasnt too bad. just a real big hole going in and out, ive seen more ruined meat from a muzzle loader. i think 80 pounds is been generous too . it tasted real good and thats what counts.
