It's an Arktis B210 and it works very well, as I find all smocks do :)

I use to use a Dropzone smock in mulitcam, but I really didn't like the velcro on it. Too noisy when your trying to be a deer ninja.
 
Artkis, I remember the blokes that set it up about 25 to 30 years ago. One was my English teacher at secondary school and he ran the outdoor activity club. Always trying new ideas such as canned dog food (remember this is before army surplus rations were available or copied for camping types), an interesting chap although I believe he would be retired by now.
 
Healthy looking little buck. I keep forgetting how small black tails are relative to their interior cousins. Sure are good sausage material though. The Queen Charlotte Island (I mean Haida Gwaii) black tails that I've hunted have not always been small. I hiked one black tail doe out of there and it was a real bugger to fight through the salal. Great times though - lookig forward to going back. I think the possession limit is 5 deer now and the annual quota has gone up to 15.

This was a smaller bodied buck which many on the island are (especially on the south end), although there are some dandies as well. I remember one my buddy took many years ago that took the both of us to grab an antler and tug all the way back to the truck - he wasn't one that you could just get moving and go with, but required heaving every time... I missed a big guy earlier in the season also that was a heavy deer, every time I heard him bounce through the slash he made quite a thump. Obviously nothing like the monster mulies you guys tip over on the mainland though!
 
My best buck so far. He came barreling across the field this afternoon shortly after 3:00. The rut is in full swing here. A quick rough score puts him at 160 6/8 (gross).
