But the one that left the biggest exit wound was a 243, you could stick your head inside

I've shot them with 45 Colt 255gr hard cast, .50 BP with 240gr projectile, 7mm Rem Mag with 139gr BTSP but the worst damage, like Brian46, was with a .243 with 87gr V-Max. Just about blew him in half.

My deer guns do less damage than some varmint bullets I've tried. 7mm mag and 150 gr sierra gk and 140 accubond has been extremely fur friendly. Haven't shot one under 150 yards with them.
